"Cannot start Microsoft Outlook"
These attempts were innefective:
Repair
Safe mode: outlook.exe /safe
Outlook /resetnavpane
Turn off Aero mode
Last I tried to make a new profile to start Mail in Control panel, but I got another error message:
"You need more memory or system resources. Please close some Windows and try again."
Solution:
Rename this registry key:
Outlook 2010 and older:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem
Outlook 2013:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Profiles
Rename it ProfilesOLD (Right click, rename.)
Then you can start Mail, and make new Outlook profile.
Warning:
Your settings in former Outlook profile will be deleted...
It's recommended to make a backup from all .pst file before you do anything.
