Body of email is missing in Outlook

Symptom:
The AVG or NOD32 or GDATA add-in deletes the message body.

Solution:
To remove an add-in:

Outlook 2007: Tools > Trust Center > Add-ins
Outlook 2010/2013/2016: File > Options > Add-ins

In the Manage field choose COM add-ins and click Go
Highlight an add-in and click Remove

Avast Free Antivirus blocks printer setup (Kyocera)

Symptom:
When install a printer (e.g. Kyocera Ecosys M6526CDN) on Windows, the installer will be interrupted, but you won't get any error message or explanation.
Avast Free Antivirus blocks the driver setup.
If you disable Avast shields control the error remains.

Solution:
Add to Exeptions the temp directory where to the Avast installer works, or remove Avast temporarily.

Avast 10.3 blocks Thunderbird email sending

Error: 
Thunderbird is unable to send e-mails, because Avast antivirus blocks sending process.

 "Sending of Message Failed, Unable to open the temporary file /tmp/nsmail.tmp, Check your 'Temporary Directory' Setting."


Solution:
Go to Settings => Active Protection => File System Shield Customize link => Exclusions and add *nsemail.html

Clean infected PC with free Kaspersky Rescue Disk

For cleaning an infected PC you can use Kaspersky Rescue Disk.
Download Kaspersky Rescue Disk from Kaspersky website (ISO), burn it to CD (eg. using ImgBurn).
Or download the iso image of Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 and a special utility and use this utility to record Kaspersky Rescue Disk 10 to USB devices.
