Symptom:
Built in microphone is not working in Windows 10 in Lenovo Thinkpad notebook.
(In Device Manager there is no any error e.g. yellow exclamation mark.)
Solution:
Maybe the built in microphone is disabled and is not set as default.
But more likely you need to remove and reinstall the proper audio driver from Control Panel or Device Manager.

Avast Free Antivirus blocks printer setup (Kyocera)
Symptom:
When install a printer (e.g. Kyocera Ecosys M6526CDN) on Windows, the installer will be interrupted, but you won't get any error message or explanation.
Avast Free Antivirus blocks the driver setup.
If you disable Avast shields control the error remains.
Solution:
Add to Exeptions the temp directory where to the Avast installer works, or remove Avast temporarily.

(Code 38) Windows error when attach a pendrive or USB external hard drive
Symptom:
When you try to attach a pendrive or USB external hard drive, you get an error message: "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware because a previous instance of the device driver is still in memory. (Code 38)"
Windows doesn't recognize the pendrive or external HDD.
Solution:
Uninstall all USB devices from Device Manager, then reboot Windows and reinstall all USB device drivers (download the chipset driver from manufacturer support page and install it).
