Disable and Re-enable hibernation in Windows 7

The hibernation feature is used mostly on laptops.
Desktop computers no need to use it usually.

Installation will automatically set up the size of hiberfil.sys to the size of RAM.

(Depending on configuration. In new machines is  approximately 2-8GB).
So in desktop computers we can gain many GBs free space on the system partition.

Turn On and Off:

Automatically:
The Microsoft Fix it two services can be downloaded msi file to run.

Hibernation is enabled .

Hibernation is disabled.

By hand:

Open an Administrative command prompt.

(Search programs and files

CMD

Ctrl + Shift + Enter)

Enable Hibernation powercfg-h on
Disable Hibernation powercfg-h off

Opening and editing huge text files on Windows

On Linux it's very simple.

If you use Windows, you can do it with the editor of Total Commander (F3/F4).
We edited a 600MB size text file.

If "Recover earlier versions of a file in Office 2010" doesn't work as it should be, and you lose your doc file...

If your Word or Excel document is demaged.
If  "Recover earlier versions of a file in Office 2010" and "Turn on AutoRecover and AutoSave to protect your files in case of a crash" don't work as they should be, you can find the "lost" document at current user's home directory in: AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\ as a .tmp file.  



After finding it just rename the file extension to .doc or .docx or .xls, .xlsx, etc.

KONICA MINOLTA Di152 Windows 7 and Windows 8 driver

I had to share a KONICA MINOLTA Di152 printer.
It was necessary that Windows 7 desktops also could print to it.
The Di152 hasn't have Windows 7 or Windows 8 driver, only for Windows 2000/XP.
However the Di152 operates with Di470 Windows 7 or Windows 8 driver as well.
It is true by default Di470 printer is not visible in the list, you must press a Windows Update to update the printers list, and after that appears Di470 printer, and it can be installed.

Another solution: if the Di152 appears as "unknown device" try to "update driver" (it was suggestion in a comment on my hungarian blog).
